The High Weald Landscape Trail (HWLT) is an east-west traverse of the High Weald through Sussex and Kent.
The route doesn't always stick to the high ground - its more of an exploration of the geography, geology, and history of the area
The route isn't public transport friendly for day walkers - you'll need to vary the route, or take rare buses in many places.
Note that the original guidebook is now long out of print
Help us! After the walk, we would love to get your feedback
