Walk Notes |
The High Weald Landscape Trail (HWLT) is an east-west traverse of the High Weald through Sussex and Kent. The route doesn't always stick to the high ground - its more of an exploration of the geography, geology, and history of the area The route isn't public transport friendly for day walkers - you'll need to vary the route, or take rare buses in many places. The original guidebook is now long out of print, but there is a newer online version
