Description

This beach is a wide sandy beach that continues north all the way to Blackpool.

The beach used by Textile visitors and Dog Walkers, and can be used without any problems by naturists.

"I know the Southport and Formby Beaches [further south towards Liverpool] are no longer welcome for use so St Anne's may be more suitable for locals. I have been on the beach myself a couple of times this summer and didn't have any problems.

Facilities

Toilets in the car park, and the Beachcomber Cafe next to it in the dunes.

Status

[Sep-24] Flyde Council :

"The status of the area that the Naturists use is an accepted unofficial position. We do not officially have an area designated for their use, however there is an understanding that if they stick to the area north of North Beach car park and don't have any BBQ's then they will be left to their own devices.

They [British Naturism] arrange a monthly meeting during summer (or at least they have in years gone by) on the first Saturday of every month, they demarcate an area that they will use, and we don't normally have any issues from them.

Updates
