North Kent Coast and Viking Trail Bike Ride

A sea wall path past some pretty coastline and seaside resorts

Length 1 km
Toughness 1 / 10
Off Road
Features

This is a very pleasent ride along the North Kent Coast - a mix of sea wall, low cliffs, resort promenandes, the picturesque ruin of Recluver, and just a few quiet residential sea front streets.

The eastern end of the coast is also part of the Viking Trail - a circular trail around the "Isle" of Thanet . Note that most of it is 'on road'. The traffic free part stops just after Botany Bay

Travel The Kings Cross High Speed trains go along the coast (at low speed) - you can change for London Bridge or Victoria
