A bright start but turning wet later today.
- A dry start with some bright spells, but cloud gradually increasing throughout the day
- Outbreaks of rain then arriving during the afternoon, perhaps heavy by dusk
- Mild but tempered somewhat by a strengthening wind

- A wet and windy night to come, with the rain turning heavy at times
- The rain likely to become confined to the Thames Estuary and English Channel coasts by dawn

- A cloudy and damp start in the south and east, but this will gradually clear east, leaving a day of sunshine and showers
- The showers perhaps turning heavy at times
