    10.5 miles of walking around the North Kent port of Faversham on a chilly afternoon that was mostly overcast. Most of the walk, which is a combination of two walks produced by Faversham Town Council (The Two Creeks Walk and A Walk on the Wild Side), has been walked before, though in a different direction.

    After a lengthy section of urban walking, including passing Davington Church, the walker reaches the village of Oare, and then its former 16th century gunpowder works.

    The church at Luddenham was made redundant in 1972, and with no seat in the grounds, lunch was had in a nearby outbuilding.

    After, it's on across Luddenham and Oare marshes to join the King Charles 3rd England Coast Path and the Saxon Coast Path for the journey back to Oare.

    Walking on the opposite side of Oare Creek brings the walker to another pub at Hollowshore, where the shorter route into Faversham is then taken.

    Another varied walk with good paths today, albeit, unlike last Spring, this one has been quite dry, fortunately. A contrast of urban and rural and the season's first sighting of House Martins and the first Cuckoo song! Wonderful!
