A very decent 13 miler (main walk) near Basingstoke, Hampshire, that has resulted in a longer video.

Once over Bartley Heath and past the noisy M3, the walk flits between the River Whitewater and the Basingstoke Canal, passing an old castle, for some tranquil waterside walking.

Lunch is had at the church in Greywell. Thereafter, it's on past the mill there to the attractive town of Odiham. Then, it's on past the wharf to continue along the towpath to the former Royal hunting ground of Dogmersfield Park. There's more attractive towpath walking after this, before crossing some fields and going along a country lane to Winchfield station.

A very pleasant walk, with good instructions and very good weather on the day! Recommended!

N.B. Some 'freezing' now occurring on film; camcorder definitely needs updating! :-(
