10 off the train at Southease, after a mad scrambled from the late train to Ore. we were met by the walk creator at the station.

    Weather Sunny and windy.

The terrain was new to most of the walkers, and the stretch on the undercliff path near the sea was extra fresh . Waves were too rough for swimming.

Lunch pub were unfazed by 7 hungry walkers without a booking.

Excellent day soaking up some of the last days of summer.

Thanks Mike for writing an enjoyable walk.

A very good local pub stop and still time at Southease to see the cafe. Meeting up with another walker who narrowly missed the 17:05, I heard that some of walkers did make the train 😉. Lesson learnt for next time. A sunny, windy day

A good walk in excellent conditions. The second half is particularly scenic with the rolling hills of yellow fields and the view back to the sea. A few locals were swimming in the river near Southease station in the afternoon - a tranquil setting for it - perhaps a swimming walk for those inclined...
