Giant Hogweed
Sounds like someone you find at the top of a beanstalk. And it's just as dangerous. This 'noxious weed' has corrosive sap that can scar you for life. But it's pretty spectacular. These were 8-10 ft tall - they can grow to twice that. They were safely distanced from the path by some vicious nettles. Wanborough to Godalming
